1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Dalni app or dalni.com.qa, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Nature of the service
Dalni is a listing and communication platform connecting buyers with independent Qatari sellers — the seller is the selling party; Dalni is neither a seller nor a financial intermediary in purchases. There is no delivery in Dalni and no electronic payment between buyer and seller: inspection, the final agreement, and cash payment happen face to face at the meetup. Dalni provides tools that help the deal along: in-chat negotiation, a 24-hour product hold, pickup points, and merchant verification.
3. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be 18 or older, or use Dalni under your guardian's supervision.
- Keep your details accurate and your credentials confidential — activity on your account is your responsibility.
- One account per person; duplicate accounts may be merged or closed.
4. Deals, holds and payment
- Prices are in Qatari Riyals, and the final price is whatever the two parties agree (directly or by negotiating in chat).
- The 24-hour hold temporarily freezes the product under your name and is not a binding sale contract — the sale completes at the meetup, after inspection and payment.
- Inspect your goods before paying; cash on collection is Dalni's core model.
- Honour the agreed pickup time and place; repeated no-shows may restrict features on your account.
5. Flash deals
- Limited quantities, while stocks last — the in-app countdown is the reference.
- A deal may carry extra conditions shown on its card.
6. The “Rewards” programme
- Points are earned from your activity in the app (completed orders, reviews, exploring) and have no cash value.
- Levels and the loyalty tree (from seed to golden palm) are computed from your points.
- We may adjust earning rates or rewards with in-app notice, and points earned by manipulation are cancelled.
7. Merchants and subscriptions
- Merchant tiers: individual seller, home business / productive family, and official store — each with its limits and tools.
- Verifying a commercial registration or a home-business licence is required to activate a store.
- Selling is by subscription: two months free at launch, then plans announced inside the app — with no commission on sales.
- The merchant is responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the legality of their goods, and compliance with Qatari commercial regulations.
8. Your rights as a consumer
Your dealings are protected by Qatar's Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 8 of 2008) and its regulations, including your right to:
- Safety — products that meet Qatari specifications.
- Knowledge — an accurate description and a clear price.
- Choice — with no coercion and no hidden fees.
- Fairness — redress for any harm you suffer.

9. Acceptable use
It is forbidden to misuse the assistant, scrape platform data, post content that violates the law, impersonate others, manipulate ratings or Fazaas, or harass users. We may suspend violating accounts, with notice where the law requires it.
10. AI suggestions
Assistant suggestions are generated automatically from merchant data and your preferences; they are indicative and not professional advice — always refer to the product page and the seller for the final details of the deal.
11. Liability and governing law
Because meeting, inspection and payment happen directly between buyer and seller, both parties are responsible for completing their deal with care; Dalni's role is to provide the platform and the protection tools described. Nothing in these terms diminishes the rights granted to you by Qatari law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Doha have jurisdiction.
