1. Who we are
Dalni for Commercial Brokerage and Electronic Trading W.L.L. (CR 244467 — Doha, State of Qatar) operates the Dalni app and dalni.com.qa, and is the data controller for the purposes of this policy. For any question: info@dalni.com.qa.
2. Data we collect
- Account data — name, mobile number, email, and your preferred language.
- Your conversations with the Dalni assistant and with sellers inside the app.
- Your orders — products, the agreed pickup point, and the time.
- Approximate location (optional) — only to show shops and deals near you; you can switch it off from your device settings at any time.
- Device information — model, OS version and crash logs, to keep the app running smoothly.
3. Payment — what we do NOT collect
Buying on Dalni happens in cash, on meetup, directly between you and the seller — so we never collect or store your card details as a buyer. Merchant subscriptions are paid through a payment gateway licensed in the State of Qatar, and we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
4. How AI uses your conversations
Your messages to the assistant are processed to reply to you, personalise suggestions, and improve the assistant's understanding of the Qatari market. Your conversations are never sold and never shown to other users or merchants.
5. Who we share data with
- The seller — sees only what's needed to complete the deal: your order, your name, and the agreed pickup point and time.
- Technical infrastructure providers — we use Google Firebase for cloud hosting and databases, under strict access rules.
- Official authorities — where the law of the State of Qatar requires it.
6. Retention
- Your account data: for as long as your account exists — and you can request deletion at any time.
- Transaction records: as required by Qatari commercial regulations.
7. Your rights
Under Qatar's Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016) you have the right to access, correct and delete your data, and to object to certain processing. Write to us at info@dalni.com.qa — we reply within 30 days, and you may escalate to Qatar's competent data-protection authority.
8. Cookies and on-site measurement
This website uses no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics tools — only what is technically necessary to serve the pages. We measure only aggregate numbers on our own servers (how many visits each page gets and how many clicks on contact buttons) with no cookies, no personal identifiers, and no IP address storage — numbers, not people. If you join the waitlist, we keep your email solely to send you the download link at launch, and you can ask us to delete it at any time via info@dalni.com.qa. In-app privacy preferences (notifications, location, personalisation) are in your hands in the settings screen.
